Newmarket Real Estate Home Pricing Trends September 2014

Owning a home in Newmarket over the past 20 years has proven to be a great investment. Wished I owned 10. Since 1992 most homes have more than doubled in value. We have attached a graph of average Newmarket detached homes showing their year over year increase in value since 1989 which demonstrates the last complete real estate cycle.

How much is my Newmarket home worth? If you know the year you bought, simply look at that year in the attached Newmarket Average Price Increase Graph and compare it to the average home value for 2014. While the graph for Newmarket Detached Avergae Homes Prices, shows dollar amount increases for detached homes, if you have town home, semi detached or condo, the relative percentage change is going to be approximately the same for your home.

Note: The demonstrated price change is based on you simply mantaining your home or property and keeping it in relatively good shape. If you have done major renovations and improvements, then you probably have created additional value beyond the average appreciation over time demonstratted in my graph. You may need a real estate broker or agent to help you determine how much extra value your improvements have added.
